Maruti Suzuki raises the price of few specific moedels of Grand Vitara and Swift models

Maruti Suzuki raised the price of several Grand Vitara Sigma models as well as the Swift. The corporation stated that the pricing are valid as of today. The Grand Vitara Sigma version will cost ₹19,000 more than the Swift, with a price increase of ₹25,000. The top carmaker stated rising cost pressure brought on by general inflation and rising material costs when it announced a 0.45 percent price rise across all models in January.

On the BSE Sensex today, Maruti Suzuki’s shares were down 1.6% to ₹12,683.65 a share. As the shares bounced back from the day’s low of ₹12,602.90, they were up 0.4%.
This is in furtherance of Maruti Suzuki’s announcement that it sold 187,196 vehicles overall in March, both domestically and abroad. The company’s domestic sales increased by 14% to 156,330 units as of March 2023. 4,974 units were sold by the business to additional Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
