The Gawda Kunbi Velip Dhangar (GAKUVED) Federeation has reminded the Chief Minister of his cabinet decision to increase support price for cashew. The GAKUVED said that there is no sign of Government implementing the decision.
The State Cabinet has approved Rs.20/- in the support price for Cashew in cabinet meeting held on the 22nd of May. The Ho’ble Chief Minister has announced that the base price for Cashew nuts was fixed as Rs. 105/- per Kg and Government will give Rs. 20 per Kg as Support price to the Farmers. However, the Gawda Kunbi Velip Dhangar (GAKUVED) Federation has expressed disbelief over the delay in ut there no sign of Government implementing the same. When the Farmers will get Compensation which they deserve?” asked GAKUVED.
