Multiple panels are backed by MLAs to show their strength as the results will open up the public wave towards their favorite political parties. Many Current and former MLAs field their candidates to show their vote power.

Total, 5038 candidates are battling for the seats at 1464 wards where around 7.9 lakh persons will cast their votes for those candidates. Voting will start from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and a good initiative is that, last 1 hour i.e. 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm is allotted for Covid-19 positive persons to cast their votes. There will be no voting at 64 wards as candidates have already been elected unopposed.

This time, in addition to door to door greeting with votes, candidates have also utilized the benefits of social media to target youths.
