The teaser of Super Star Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon starrer film Aadipurush was released on Sunday (October 2). After seeing the look of different characters of the movie, the demand for its boycott has started. On social media, users trolled the film and its characters saying that the facts have been shown wrongly in the movie.
Here, the BJP, Hindu Mahasabha and users have expressed anger over the Ravana avatar of Saif Ali Khan. All India Hindu Mahasabha has compared his look with terrorist Khilji. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra has written a letter to the film’s director Om Raut, asking him to remove objectionable scenes and content from the film. Failure to do so has warned of taking legal action.
Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, National President of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha, while talking about Saif’s look in the film said, ‘Saif has been shown in the role of Lankapati Ravana, the biggest devotee of Lord Shiva, like terrorist Khilji, Genghis Khan or Aurangzeb. There is neither a tilak nor a tripunda on the forehead. We don’t tolerate playing with our mythological characters.
People say that Ram did not have a mustache, so why was it shown in this film? In one scene, Ram is seen wearing even slippers, so people have also questioned this and said that Ram used to wear wooden stands, not slippers.
The trollers are not impressed with Adi Purush’s VFX either. Users say that it is worse than any cartoon or animation movie. Some users are asking how pan India film can be made with such bad VFX. At the same time, the Lanka shown in the teaser of Adi Purush is also not liked by the people.
