Sonali Phogat, leader of Bharatiya Janata Party from Hisar district of Haryana, who was seen in the reality TV show ‘Big Boss’, died in Goa on Tuesday. She was declared dead by a team of doctors at a hospital in Anjuna, North Goa. At the same time, Goa Police has registered a case of unnatural death. Doctors have attributed the death of Sonali Phogat to a heart attack. At present, her post-mortem will be done today. According to doctors, the exact cause of Sonali Phogat’s death will be known only after the post-mortem. At the same time, no injury marks were found on her body.
It is being told that Sonali Phogat was on a tour of Goa with some of her employees. Sonali complained of being restless at Anjuna’s ‘Curley’s’ restaurant. After this she was taken to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Anjuna in North Goa district. At present, there is no doubt of any kind of conspiracy in the case.
In Haryana, where Sonali Phogat’s family members questioned the circumstances of her death, the opposition parties have demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire matter. Sonali’s sister Raman says that she called her after feeling uneasy after having food in Goa and told her that she is not healthy and she is feeling nervous.
