In a major breakthrough, police busted the cases of a series of car breaking theft reported in Panaji Police station, Mapusa Police Station and Porvorim Police station jurisdiction.
Panaji Town Police station officers and staff through swift, meticulous planning, and coordination, busted an interstate gang hailing from Mumbai, Maharastra within 24 hours and arrested 03 active criminals and habitual offenders involved in series of car breaking theft namely Juber S/o Rahis Amhed, age 31 years, Occ. POP Decorator, R/o C/o Bablu, Room No. 3, Road No. 1, Vasant Nagari, Near Agarwal Fire Brigade, Nalasupara East, Palghar, Mumbai, Maharashtra N/o Bhudanjyot, Tal. – Utrola, Post- Teharava Navbad, Dist:- Balrampur, U.P., Jagannath S/o Ramnath Saroj, age 46 years, Occ.- Driver, R/o Patiwadi Chawl, Gurai Naka, Nalasupara East, Mumbai, Maharashtra N/o Vill. Raniganj, Tal.- Ajgira Raniganj, Dist. – Pratapgad, U.P., Pradeep S/o Ravalnath Gurav, age 27 years, Occ. Driver, R/o H. No. -, Vill.- Sulaye, Tal.- Chandgadh, Post – Hare, P.S. Chandgadh, Dist. Kolhapur, Maharashtra were arrested.
During investigation recovered 16 car stereos of different makes, Garments, 1 Hyundai i10 car, Mobile phones after a hot chase at Belgaum, Karnataka in an overnight operation by Panaji Town Police Station team.
The Total 17 cases were cracked down of Panaji, Porvorim and Mapusa Police Station which were committed by the above accused persons, and all stolen property, All worth Rs. 15 Lakhs Approx recovered from the accused persons.

Warang, PSI Allaudin Khan, Head Constable 5151, Nitin Gaonkar, HC-4286 Chandrashekhar Amonkar, HC 5279, Harish Palekar, HC-5483, Sagar Naik, HC-5302 Vishnu Rane, PC-6962 Sadanand Malik,, PC-5918 Ermaiya Gurraya PC-6492 Sayesh Uskaikar, PC-7816 Aditya Mardolkar, PC-7656 Baptist Mascrenehas, PC-Driver Rama Ghadi, and Suresh Patil PC -1360, Asif Kalgur PC 1450, Vinod Kambli PC 2002 of Crime Branch Kolhapur developed the information and well executed, leading to arrest and recovery of above articles, under overall supervision of Shri. Santosh Dessai SDPO Panaji and Shri. Shobhit Saksena, IPS, SP North Goa.
