Teams led by PI Vaigankar and PI Therron busted a gang involved in more than 10 chain snatching incidents reported across Goa. Mohd Sarfaraz (21) r/o Davorlim, Ajay@Rooney (24) r/o Ponda n/o Belgaum and the receiver Lilesh Lotlikar r/o Borda Margao arrested.
KTM bike used in the crime has been recovered. PI Maina Curtorim PS Shri. Shivram Vaingankar, PSI Deepesh Shetkar, PC-6963 Rizwan Shaikh, PC-7403 Dhiraj Naik and PC-7409 Chetan Koli assisted by PI Cuncolim Shri. Therron D’Costa and his staff PSI Bharat Karath, ASI Subhash Naik, PC Nikhil Dessai, and PC Nilesh Kaskar. PSI Amre, Call Monitoring Cell, South Goa also provided his assistance in providing the location and movement of the accused persons.
All accused brought on Police custody remand. Further investigation is in progress
