Commonwealth Games 2022: India got two golds on the third day of Commonwealth Games, Badminton-table tennis also showed its glory

India’s performance on the third day of the Commonwealth Games 2022 was very good. India won two gold medals on Sunday which came in weightlifting. Apart from this, India’s performance in other sports was also commendable. In cricket, the Indian women’s team returned to winning ways and defeated arch-rivals Pakistan, while boxer Nikhat Zareen started her campaign brilliantly. The Indian men’s team has reached the semi-finals in table tennis. Along with this, India has also reached the threshold of securing a medal in the mixed team event of badminton. So far, all six medals have been given by weightlifters to India in Commonwealth 2022. Mirabai Chanu, Jeremy Lalrinnunga and Achinta Sheuly won the gold medal. Whereas Sanket Mahadev Sargar and Bindiyarani Devi won the Silver Medal. Apart from this, Gururaja Pujari was successful in winning the bronze medal in the 61 kg weight category. India is currently at number six.
