The Chandrawado area woke up to a double murder on Monday.
Minguel Miranda, 65 and his mother in law Catarina Pinto aged 85 were found murdered in a store room behind their living house in Chandrawado Fatorda.
As the news spread like wildfire the Superintendent of Police Pankaj Kumar Singh, SP Crime Branch Shobit Saxena, DIG Paramaditya reached the spot.
The DIG Paramaditya has informed that this can be a case of personal enmity as well as of a robbery and that the police is investigating from all the angles. He also informed that there are stab marks as well as blunt weapon marks on the body of the deceased.
Three laborers living in a rented room behind the house have been missing since morning along with a two wheeler owned by the son of the deceased Minguel. The sniffer dog ran to the fields and reportedly stopped near the Nehru College nearby.
