Lalit Modi, who is in the money laundering case, has announced a relationship with former Miss Universe and actress Sushmita Sen. Leaving the country and living in London, Lalit Modi shared many pictures of himself and Sushmita Sen and called him a better half. News started flying on social media that both of them got married in London itself. After this, in another tweet, Lalit Modi wrote – Let me make it clear that there is no marriage, we are dating each other. The wedding will also happen soon. However, Sushmita has not given any reaction on this relationship at the moment. Lalit Modi is 56 years old while Sushmita Sen is 46 years old.
It was Lalit Modi who started the IPL. He was the commissioner of IPL from 2008 to 2010. The tournament proved to be quite successful in the first two seasons of the IPL. In 2010, Modi was accused of corruption in the IPL. He fled the country in 2010 after being accused of money laundering. While studying abroad, Lalit Modi was giving heart to his mother’s friend Meenal. There was a lot of ruckus in Lalit Modi’s family over this relationship. He married Meenal on October 17, 1991. Meenal died of cancer in 2018. Lalit Modi has two children.
