Padri Conceicao: Pagi Otmeancho, a biography on the life of the charismatic priest Fr. Conceicao Mariano Chagas D’Silva was released at the hands of His Excellency Bishop Alwyn Baretto, Bishop of Sindhudurg diocese at a memorial service held at Orlim. The biography is written by well-known Romi-Konkani Writer and Journalist Michael Jude Gracias.
In his address on the occasion, Bishop Alwyn recalled the immense services rendered by Fr. Conceicao in the spiritual social and literary field and said the title was an apt description of the spiritual renewal work he carried out in the name of Jesus.
The biography running in 23 chapters gives a vivid picture of Fr Conceicao from his birth till his death, with each dedicated chapter for the works he carried out in different parishes he worked.
