Rebel Congress MLA Michael Lobo demanded the constitution of a special investigation team (SIT) as State missed hosting the National Games once again due to high drug menace. He further added that facilities built for such events have been lying idle since long. The Calangute MLA said, “The main reason behind this is the failure of police department to control drug trafficking in the state. The chief minister should form and monitor SIT to control the drug menace. State will get results within six months.”
