But to forget the pain of inflation, when the common man came to the bar to buy beer and then found that too expensive, then where should he go? In fact, beer has become expensive in Goa. As soon as your Goa trip is planned, then remember that you will not be able to enjoy a cheap beer in Goa.
The Goa government has increased the excise duty on beer by Rs. 10-12 per liter. This is the reason that now beer will become expensive in the state. The state excise department announced the fee hike two days back. Goa Liquor Traders Association President Dattaprasad Naik said that after this duty hike, the price of light beer will increase by Rs. 15 per bottle, strong beer by Rs. 20-25, and expensive beer by Rs. 30 per bottle.
