Cuncolim police has arrested four persons who were involved in house burglaries in salcete area.
Accused persons Mohammad Afzal aged 26 yrs , r/o Ghaziabhad, Uttar Pradesh, Mohammad Shamshad Alam, aged 26 yrs, N/o.Karawal Nagar, Delhi, Salman s/o Banne khan, aged 27yrs, N/o Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh and Parvez Khan, aged 18yrs, Panipat, Haryana were arrested. Stolen property worth atleast ₹ 50 thousand recovered.
There were few instances reported to the police wherein the accused persons had targeted the houses of which the inmates were either abroad or out of station.
The police custody remand has been obtained and part of stolen property has been recovered by the police in two cases.
Further investigation is in progress.
