The Colva and Margao town police in a joint operation led by PI Colva and PI Margao Town teams conducted a gambling raid at Varca in a Hotel and caught red handed 15 persons involved in gambling activities in a closed premises by playing with the help of chips of different colours having value of Rs. 6,90,000/- and playing cards.
A case has been registered and the 15 accused persons have been arrested. The raiding team involved PI Colva PS, PI Margao Town PS, PSI AJIT VELIP, PSI RAHUL NAIK, ASI – Dilkhush Velip, PC- Vikas Kaushik, Keshav, Amar Gaonkar, Hemant Bhandari, Sushant, Gorakhnath, Kalpesh Kholkar, Orland, Vishal Prabhu, Saish Mandrekar, Swapnesh Velip, Vijendra Gaonkar, Suhas Salkar, Wasim Shaikh, Subhani Shaikh and Harshad Gaude. The arrested persons are from Gujarat and Goa.
