Congress leader Yuri Alemao has said that the publicity obsessed BJP and Aam Aadmi Party are busy in self glorification with their obsession for publicity when people in the country are dying of breathlessness as BJP & AAP governments have failed to provide Oxygen.
Congress Leader Yuri Alemao in a press note issued today charged that few days back Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant outnumbered Covid Deaths in Goa with Self Glorification Advertisements on his Birthday. Now it has come to light that BJP Parivar Member Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has spent Rs. 150.33 Crores in last three months on Self Promoting Advertisements.
“This is happening when hundreds of Covid infected patients are dying due to non-availability of Oxygen, Medicines and Hospital Beds. The scenario in Goa is not different from what is happening in Delhi” stated Yuri Alemao.
“It would have been more appropriate if both BJP and AAP had supported the Media Houses with constructive advertisements spreading awareness on Covid Pandemic. I am not against supporting newspaper and electronic media, but every Government must use their funds judiciously, especially in critical times” said Yuri
“Today, even the journalists are pleading for help. Both AAP and BJP Governments have no plan to give vaccinations to the journalists on priority. They are the fourth pillar of democracy and we all need to ensure their safety first” said Yuri Alemao.
“I am surprised that neither BJP nor AAP functionaries in Goa are uttering a single word on Delhi High Court passing stringent strictures on Delhi Government headed by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for their failure to provide basic healthcare facilities to Covid patients. Delhi High Court rapped the AAP government for its incompetency to send tankers to get Oxygen” he pointed out.
“People of Goa should now realise that Aam Aadmi Party is the member of BJP Parivar which is making false rhetorics to create confusion in the minds of the people to split secular votes” he criticised.
“I appeal to people to remain safe and take care of their family members as there are no hopes from the irresponsible government” Yuri Alemao said.
