Mahashivratri festivities have taken hold not just in India but also in a number of other countries. Indians and others from all over the world may be seen dancing to the tunes of “Har Har Mahadev” in the video. not only seized India but also other regions of the globe. Hindus celebrate Mahashivratri as one of the most significant holidays. It occurs one day ahead of the new moon on the fourteenth day of the dark (waning) half of the lunar month of Phalguna or Magha. March 8 is the day on which it is observed this year. Ancient writings including the Padma Purana, Linga Purana, and Skanda Purana all make reference to the occasion.
