VALPOI MUNICIPAL COUNCIL FAILED CARRYING OUT DEVELOPMENT WORKS IN WARD ONE

The Valpoi Municipal Council is totally failed in carrying out the development works in ward number one of Velus village. All the developments works in ward number one is incomplete. The Ganpathi Visarjan Shade, the footpath work and Chavata shade and many other development works are incomplete in ward one.

Since last three decades the Valpoi Municipal Council has not done any proper development work in ward number one of Velus village. The Whatever development work have done in our village till date that work is not completed. And all development incomplete works are done with the very low quality materials, Say villagers.

In October month this year, the Valpoi Municipal Council has started the village Chavata construction work, its a very small shade, the total estimate work is below five lakhs. They have not completed the shade work till now. Due to this we are facing many problems. We cannot celebrate our village religious functions because of incomplete Chavata Shade Work, say villagers.

We villagers went at Contractor house, who takes all development constructions works tenders of our village. While giving commissions to the Engineer and other heavy weight people. The contractor never done any good construction work in our village till date. All works are incomplete and low quality works. The Contractor Deepak Paryekar, who based in our village only, he have refused to answers us and in return the contractor threatened the villagers. While saying that he will not complete the chavata shade work. You all villagers dont celebrate the Dhalo Utsav and other religious functions, he dont bothered. And told us to get out from his house, otherwise he will take action, says a villager Amresh Gaonkar.

We all villagers from ward number one of Velus village demand to the Government to take strict action on the Contractor and cancelled his contract licence.
