Forest Department is organising series of talks and awareness programme during Turtle Nesting festival 2021. A talk was organised for local community at Morjim on How to respond on dead and live marine mammals and important Mitigating solutions. The talk was attended by around 30 villagers and two life guards and other departmental staff. Shri Paresh C Porob ACF delivered a lecture on significance on marine turtle conservation and how to respond on live and dead marine mammals and important mitigating solutions. Talk was interactive and participants asked question on the said topic. The awareness activity was planned to sensitive local community about marine mammal andbtuetle conservation in Morjim, so as to garner support of local community. The Forest officers present were Shri John Fernandes RFO, Shri Sangam Gawas RFO. shri Abhishek Naik Dy RFO and other Forest staff with turtle volunteers were present.
