Veteran comedian Raju Srivastava passed away on Wednesday morning. Raju Srivastava was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi after a heart attack on August 10, where he breathed his last at the age of 58. A team of doctors was constantly trying to improve his health, but he did not regain consciousness and now Raju Srivastava is no more among us.

On August 10, Raju Srivastava fell unconscious during a workout, after which he was admitted to the All India Institute of Medicine (AIIMS) in Delhi. After being admitted to AIIMS, Raju Srivastava’s angioplasty was done, but even after this there was no improvement in his condition. Raju Srivastava’s brain stopped working and he was put on continuous life support. Although, a few days ago, movement was seen in Raju Srivastava’s hands and feet, but in the end,  he lost the battle of life.

Raju Srivastava was born on 25th December, 1963 in Unnao, Kanpur. He belonged to middle class family. Raju’s father Rameshchandra Srivastava was a famous poet. But Raju was fond of comedy since childhood. He used to do mimicry since childhood. He wanted to become a comedian and he not only made his dream come true by coming out of a small place, but also earned respect and name.
