Netravali- Blood Testing Collection Centre & Diabetes detection camp was held at Netravali Arogyadham. Netravali Arogyadham in Association with Paarth Diagnostic lab, Curchorem inaugurated “Blood Testing Collection Centre and Diabetes detection camp” at Netravali Arogyadham at Vichundre. Rotarian Dr. Paresh Kamat President of Indian Medical Association Curchorem, Quepem & Sanguem Branch was Chief Guest for the function.
Dr. Paresh Kamat informed that blood test are one of the important diagnosis tools for many diseases early diagnosis which will help the patient to get treated faster and further prevent the bad prognosis of the patients. Dr Paresh Kamat delivered a awareness talk on diabetes and hypertension.
Mr Suresh Quepekar, Zilla Panchayat member present as special guest appreciated the idea and initiative taken by team of Arogyadham in such remote area and assured to provide all support for such noble cause.
Netravali Arogyadham is Health & Wellness Centre under Kalyan Ashram Goa which conducts free health camp, Blood donation Camp, health talks etc, and creates health awareness in the villages under Netravali Panchayat. Villages under Netravali Panchayat are located in remote areas and if at all patients have to take blood tests they have to travel around 40-50 km.
The test will be done at the same rate which patients will do at Curchorem or any other place.

Mr Sushant Goankar (president) of Arogyadham, Mr. Srikant Verlekar, (Secretary), Mr Dhananjay Bhandari (treasurer), Dr. Mahesh Verlekar, Mr Satish Goankar, Mr. Bhiku Kalmo, Mr. Vijaykant Goankar, Mr. Ujed Goankar were other members present for the function.
