The RCB men created a guard of honor to welcome Smriti Mandhana and the rest of the team, who led the WPL title-winning squad, to the field with Virat Kohli in attendance. Goosebumps are guaranteed as the captain and the rest of her squad step out in front of all the applause, cheers, and hoots.
The women are deserving of everything. Thousands of Bengaluru supporters saw their wait come to an end as RCB defeated Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 championship game on just their second try. Despite their greatest efforts, the men’s squad has not been able to accomplish this in the past 16 years of the IPL.
