The Congress Legislative Party has demanded for a 5 day assembly session be called to ensure they get the answers to the situation of Goa during the Covid19 pandemic.
The Congress Legislative Party met at Margao and discussed the issues pertaining to migrants, Covid funding to government and actual number of cases in Goa till date. Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat chaired the meeting attended by Ponda MLA Ravi Naik, Poriem MLA Pratapsingh Rane, Curtorim MLA Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, Navelim MLA Luizinho Faleiro were present at the meeting. Pratapsingh Rane, Former Speaker of Goa said “We live in a democratic nation” and has demanded for a 5 day assembly session to enable the Opposition to find answers on what the Government is doing to battle the Covid19 pandemic. The Opposition Leader Digambar Kamat has meanwhile demanded white paper on the entire Covid19 operations of Goa government.
