The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has promised of raising the issue surrounding the Dhirio (bull butting) game of Goa through Sharad Pawar, Praful Patel, and Supriya Sule in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha soon.
The NCP Observer of Goa Narendra Varma was in Goa and held a meeting with the NCP MLA Churchill Alemao and others. After receiving a memorandum from the Dhirio lovers directed to Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel the observer has assured that the MP’s of Rajya Sabha Sharad Pawar and Praful Patel and MP of Lok Sabha Supriya Sule will raise the issue and speak in favor of Dhirio in both the houses.
Several complaints have been filed and several have been booked as Dhirio in Goa go unabated as its legality hangs in balance at present.
