World Heart Day – Include these food items in your diet today, then your heart will say ‘All Is Well’

Today the whole world is running for success and money. For this, people give up even eating and sleeping. This is the reason that nowadays everyone’s lifestyle is completely spoiled. Due to a lack of food and other things on time, people are falling prey to many serious diseases. Today every other person is troubled by mental stress and obesity. Due to a lack of proper diet and lifestyle, heart disease is also taking people in its grip. Today heart attack has become a silent killer, which comes secretly and kills a person. People are not even aware and they get many diseases related to the heart. However, making some changes to your habits can keep your heart healthy.

World Heart Day is celebrated every year on 29th September. To this day people are made aware of the diseases and problems related to the heart. You know that every year around 17 million people die due to heart disease (CVD) worldwide. The main cause of these deaths has been coronary heart disease or stroke. In view of the increasing cases of heart attacks, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Heart Federation together started World Heart Day. Their motive was that on this day people are made aware of how to prevent heart attack or what are its symptoms.

Include these things in your diet to keep your heart happy and healthy always:

  • Walnuts and peanuts
  • Fresh fruit
  • Fiber and protein foods
  • Dark chocolate
  • Beans
  • Fish
  • Turmeric
  • Cinnamon

These foods are not good for the heart:

  • Butter
  • Cream sauce
  • Packaged or canned food
  • Calorie things
  • Junk food
  • Ice Cream and Potato Chips
  • Untimely food and food items made from flour
